i can whip this up for you in about 5 minutes, i just need to know what does the pci card button do and the button next to it with the ribbon.

Cool. The PCI Card is the menu and the Ribbon is a film strip. The film strip is for changing the main window from directory/ file/ etc. to Video or visuals.

The arrows on the far right are mode change.

actually, if you can put a label next to each item saying what you want it to do or display that would be better. Im not sure what the bar on teh far right is either

or just tell me what the bar on the far right is. I think i know what everything else is.

One thing that dose bother me though is that there is no Menu button. You may need this just to go in and change settings

Well if it is, then i have bad news for you.

The slider is not a seperate element, the slider for the dir list and plalist are attatched to the inside of the specified area for the DL and PL, meaning they would be inside the bigger blue box.

Thanks again. One more thing.. The Volume Up /down is switch ed in the final picture. Thats the only diff. So mae the volume down be up and vise versa.

Very cool. Any idea when it will be available? I'd like to use it on my desktop at work.

also, of note when you have the vis cover up the playlist you will need 3 buttons for this function alone. Check out my skin and you will see what i mean.

One button cycles through the vis modes
another button tuns the vis area off so you can see the playlist below
another button is to go full screen visuals

This behavior is a bug in FP, the cycle button is supposed to also turn if off but this dosent not work currently.

So my advice is to move the mode buttons to the top left of the screen and use that space for the extra button.
You dont need the fullscreen button.

also, some more info about the slider,
the background of the slider is NOT trasparent, so if you want it to apear to be trasparent you will need to make an area in the skin to be one solid color (no gradient)

I think you are going to have problems only haveing the Playlist visible and not the Dir list. What mode do you intend to use with this skin,
I was only able to get tracks to show up under All Music and Video, i believe all the other modes require you to click into the Dir list to choose a dir
