ini code definitions

i was wondering if anyone has put together the definitions of the ini meanings... i thought it might be helpful for people who are making their own skins and writing their own ini files. im working on making my first skin and writing the ini's is the most time consuming part for me, if i know what the exact codeing was and what each one did, it would help alot. is there anything like this out their? if not, maybe someone with the experience could put something together.

example:

LABEL_VOLUME = displays the volume level.
MODE_FWD = moves the mode forward one level.

just a thought.....

I think most of the setting are pretty simple to understand.
Important is that you get the overall picture of the frodo-skinning.

Take an empty workspace in Photoshop (800*600)
This worksapce is 100% width and 100 height.

All the setting you want to use in your skin are set in percentage ( <- what's the word for it???)
In the beginning make a nice skin without wondering making the ini.
Say you got this:

In your example:
LABEL_VOLUME = displays the volume level.
my label volume is "20,70%"
You got a GREAT tool in photoshop to do this.. you only have to type it in to your .ini file.

Make sure you got the rulers on.
press CTRL + R
right mouse on your ruler and choose percent

press F8 to get the info window.
When you make a rectangle you can see the coordinates in the info screen...

thanks for the response... i got this far on my own by playing around. the thing that i would like to know is what all the labels actually do. like what the definitions of everything is. i know most of them are self explanitory, but there are some that i have no idea what they mean or do. something like what you explained and what im trying to describe would be really helpful for a skinning how-to. thanks again

I was wandering same thing as well, since I am very proficient with Photoshop I will also like to make my own skins, but I really don’t understand much on what involve. So if some one knows a place or any resources on how to learn the development of new skins
It will be a plus

why don't you tell me which you don't understand (and from which file) And I/ we will try to anwer your post... there are a lot of setting you know..
Play around with it.. you'll learn on the fly

I think an ini def. would be a great sticky for all the people that can do the graphics, but get lost in the ini file (like me).

yeah i will have specific questions when i get that far. for right now im working on the photo shop part, but i just was kinda thinking ahead, hoping that i would have some resources by the time i finish that, if there was anything out there. like arise said, for people like us who are good with photoshop, but not at coding, it would be a very helpful sticky. if not, ill do what i can, and ask more questions later with the stuff i dont understand.
