Thread: Can someone please tell me what I Need to used Frodo Player? PLEASE

Read the faq it tells you everything you just asked.

Frodo is designed to work with pretty much all hardware. It's not like Windows Media Edition. With the fm radio, as long as you can get radiator to work, which it will with the hapauge card, then it will work in frodo. Any dvd player will work. Just get good DVD decoders. Do a search to find out whats good. Any nmea compliant GPS receiver will work with IGuidance.

I checked the FAQ, and there is nothing in there. I just played around with it for awhile, and I got Iguidance to work, adn the XM is well, which kicks a**. The only real problem is I can't get it to be 800x600 instead of what it is, no full screen. The thing about radiator is I don't have a clue what it is. I have searched the internet and here, and I still don't understand what it is. He needs to write a manual to tell you what it all does, because I don't have a clue what 90% of it is, and I know I am not using it for what it can really do. I know its the best after looking at it, but can't figure out the hardware I need. Like the camera for instance. I will go through all these threads again and try some out. If you have an suggestions or features you think are cool, let me know.

Someone help the man

Froto, I have been on it for the last couple of hours, and I think I got it almost done the way I need it. I have been trying out some skins, but I will need to make my own. I did the stuff for radiator, but I know I need to change the dll or something like that so it works. But I did get radiator to work with my card. I also played around with the playlist, and although I made one, i am still not exactly sure what I did. XM worked good too. The Camera input, or whatever input I guess you want to use, I can't get it to go full screen. I get this little blue screen in the middle right now. I don't know if I can or not, but I am going to try and use the card with TV and FM to get the Tv in the camera input. I don't see why not.

Besides thoses little things like the radiator, I think I got it going. I found a forum earlier about the settings in radiator. I need to learn how to make my own skin though. Thanks for all the work and I will be donating.

Well then, is there anything I need to do specifically with radiator to get it to work with frodoplayer. I played music with radiator through the card I have. But when I tried it in frodo player it worked. I can't find the thread that told me which dll to point to. Or am I just remembering something else I saw. Once I get that, I will be one big happy camper.

Radiator worked when I played radiator by itself. But it didn't do anything when I tried it in frodoplayer. I checked the path to radiator in your settings, but still nothing. I thought I had to change some settings or soemthing, but I might be wrong.
