Hey Frodo I got a question for you.........
How to disable the white label??
when you touch the bottons with the mouse pointer it display the description of what the botton does...(menu,volume,mute etc)......I see no reason to have this displaying what the botton is for when you have it onthe big botton itself!!
CarPC Stolen. Starting over.

Open up explorer, click Tools - Folder Options then click the View tab. Uncheck the "Show pop-up description... " option. I believe this should do the trick.
I thought about this more in the morning and I realized that this doesn't fix the problem. It prevents the files and folders from poppup up a tooltip but the tooltips in FP still pop up on the buttons. Maybe the buttons are programmed in FP to show windows tooltips?
there was some discussion about this a while back... and as current there is no way to completely turn off tool tips in windows... Frodo i believe still has this on his research list
Pentium 4m 1.5GHz|MB896|Roadie Extreme|XM-Direct|Rikaline 6010|T-View 7"|Streetdeck|160gb Western Digital|1Gb DDR2-533 Ram
I read there is something about using TweakXP to make the tooltips transparent but I don't get that bugged by it. What bugs me more is having a mouse pointer after coming back from hibernation!!!
Yeahhhhh Those Tolltips Drive Me Nuts....
this i have found (but it describes Mac... is it the same in Windows??!)
"I thought tooltips like that were based upon the application, and not the OS?"
"Indeed, tooltips are application-specific. The application developer has to choose to use tooltips or not, and to decide what text should appear for each item. Some applications have a preference item to disable tooltips."
Frodo is that right? Then plz disable these Tooltips
