So, given that knowledge, perhaps I can shimmy around that NDA by asking what features I should design for when I update my CONSOLE skin.

Should I for example need to add buttons for PhoneControl, ODBII and would I need to modify any INI files for CROSS-FADE?

... Is FP gonna cost $$$ now? Otherwise, what intellectual property would be at risk?

I'm assuming he has been busy cause he's in business with DICE Inc now? but who knows!

And even in that venture... customers are buying the CarPC's, not the frontend really... so still don't understand the secrecy..
... someone's gonna have to beta test all these major code changes eventually! heh...

That's not one of the reasons. Its just fun to keep people guessing what's next

ah... well then it's just frustrating then! The chit-chat of little Frodo's is what
kept me excited about the front end lol.... now it's silent...

Makes one get interested in other front ends being forced to read about them instead!

(maybe I can guilt Frodo into some news.. heh... )

I can say that he is working with the developers

Well I hope it's all for the better... and doesn't just end up with a bloated all-in-one app that isn't customizable!

Actually its going to be the opposite. All the code rewiriting should speed the app up, plus the other features increase efficiency
