The XM Direct is comming in to the Line in, and i have the INI configured to control the software on mute. I have selected "line" for the mute, mute on exit, and unmute on start options. When i press the mute button in the program, nothing happens. The line in is never muted.
What am i doing wrong?
To those using creative soundblaster live or audigy 2 nx cards. When using the EQ feature, with either the spdif or line in, are you able to output the stereo XM source into 5.1 channels?
Hopefully you understand what I mean. I have been trying to come up with a way to get 5.1 output from the stereo XM source. The EQ feature looks promising, as it allows the source to become digital, which can then be upmixxed by the USB soundcard.
Any clue?
thats the point of the Equalizer being added to it... it basically records the line-in runs it through the equalizer.. and then outputs it as a Wave stream... so it gets upmixxed by the soundcard to all the appropriate speakers...Quote:

great, that is what I wanted to hear.
What sort of sound quality issues are there? I have read through the posts, and the only thing I see is people misconfiguring the app. Is there something I am missing?

Turn the reverb down to the bottom, and the chorus and flanger off.
As far as my attempts are concerned - I tried that all in teh car but it did not help.
On my desktop it works rather well, except when another app starts hogging the cpu, then i start getting crackling.
use the start command to give it a higher priorityQuote:
