    Question XM PCR and Frodoplayer problems PLEASE HELP!!

    I have been searching through the archives of mp3car.com's forum for a solution to a problem I am having and haven't foud a good answer.

    I have the PCR hooked up via USB to my carputer. Whenever Frodoplayer goes to the XM window it reads all the songs from every channel and plays the songs for about 15-30 seconds, then it acts like there is no signal. But if I close Frodoplayer and open the XM PCR software by its self it works great.

    I was wondering what settings I need to have on my Frodoplayer in the XM part. I see where it asks for the comm port, but it's USB and USBs don't have comm ports right? Or do I need to get a USB to Serial adapter and run it that way?

    Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

    I downloaded and used the new frodosatell player and it works flawlessly, I just wish I could figure out the problem with the frodoplayer becuase I would like to not have to switch between apps. Thanks

    You most probably have the Camera Trigger, or Lockout trigger set in FrodoPlayer.
    Disable them.

    Are you talking about in the INI file?

    Here is what I have:

    CAMTRIGGERENABLED=FALSE
    CAMTRIGGERONHIGH=TRUE
    CAMTRIGGERPORT=1

    and

    LOCKOUTENABLED=FALSE
    LOCKOUTONHIGH=TRUE
    LOCKOUTPORT=1

    Should I turn the ONHIGH to false?

    no, just enabled to false
    if that doesn't work, change the ports on them to something else as well
