Personal skin - need some comment

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a skin for myself. I don't really have the intention to release it to public. At least not at for the time being. But I would like to have a little thoughts gathered, especially concerning the text. Which font would you suggest I'd use. And maybe just as important, which color? The skin is going to be used in a audi 80 with blue dash, black faceplates and red backlighting.

I like it m8, nice and easy to use :-) all the buttons are a good size, no fiddling about trying to hit the right one

geeez, again...

don't use dotted fonts. On 7inch monitor they look like crap.

Thanks for the advice.

Up until now it has just been some photoshopping on my laptop . So I haven't been able to test it yet on a 7".
Does the other LCD font come out better than the dotted one?
Or do you only recommend 'normal' fonts?

That's not true. I played around with this font in my skin. I didn't leave it in my skin because it didn't fit. But you could read it perfectly. What I've heard is that the problem is resolution dependant. The members who complained about this font mostly use 800x480. I'm running NATIVE 800x600. No problems here.

Well I am using 800x600, so I should not be having the problem.
But you are probably right. Maybe an other font would suit the skin better.
I think I'll have some searching to do.
