    resolution and centering problem

when i open fp in 800 x 600 res it drops down lower than my screen. the only resolution it stays up in the center of the screen is 1024 x 768. is there a setting some where that will allow me to change the res of the program or a setting that will keep it in view at 800 by 600? i am using version 1.0.9.

    a) There is, as far as I can tell, no FAQ, manual, or instructions, or detailed description of settings for Frodoplayer.
    b) If that many people have asked it, it's probably not a good default setting. At least not until the rather bizarre resolution of common CarPC displays is supported by common CarPCs.
    c) There is no C.

He said it had been answered that many times. In fact it has only been asked once, it just so happens everybody and his brother phoned in with the answer.

Well ... there is a FAQ in this forum ... but pruning is still turned on so most of the threads don't show up. Either way ... that's no reason not to search.

But, that doesn't change the fact that the answer is all over this forum ... here's a few:

Frodo player doenst display at 800x600
    Frodoplayer and DVDs (Post 14 & 15)
    full screen?
Dumb noob question (which links to the next which is in the FAQ)
    Screen Size / Placement

    So you get the point.

Ok so maybe I exagerated a little on how many times it's been answered.

I never said it was a good default setting ... frodo just probably forgot to turn it off before he packaged it.

    Indeed.

FWIW ... when I first started using FP I had the same question, and was able to find the answer just by browsing through the threads in the FP forum (didn't even have to search). So the answer's there and easily found.

I'm really sick of some people sending other to search..............
like I told to stevie one time......i"f you think is something wrong with ask don't answer just ignore me" this still a public forum guys so if you think that you are sick of this question ignore it!!!! let some other to answer..... OK
Also remenber that there are non-english people that don't know the terminology to do a full search (people like me ).

    ok, stop bickering

Thanks for all your help, sorry for all the trouble, i actually figured out the answer about an hour after i went home (no internet at home, only at work) and messed with the program a little more. Sweet program tho, but i agree, there needs to be some documentation, at least a list of the basic tips such as holding down the mouse for a couple of seconds and having different results. but i guess thats where you just have to be curious and poke around and hopefully not erase your music directory!
