Ok try this..... when open FP press the windows key and in the tool bar click MM.. it is maximized or half way?? I had this problem but for sure is a MM size setting.
Thanatos.
Just tried it. It works great - thanks. Just one minor niggling miniscule thing, MM opens full screen for half a briefly befor dissappearing. Is this not fixable - or should I say is it a MM limitation.
Thanks again - my setup is quickly becoming more and more slick. Couldn't have done it without this wonderful forum.
I feel donations coming on to all the people whos software I use.

MM works perfectly embedded with mediacruiser so there has to be a solution for FP also.

We are talking about something else here.... so next time read the whole thing before posting!!!
Thanatos.
Starting MM in the background is useful but so is proper embedding so there will be no need to have anything in window mode (max min or whatever) you can always run it full screen. Thats why I mentioned Mediacruiser which is not even close to FP in any other way.Originally Posted by thanatos106
OK, let me try this one more time....
This is about a whole diferent thing than embedding the APP to FP.....
I'm giving instrutions to pentode of how to run a script file to have MM ready when he start FP,changing the setting "size and pos" in MM from fullscreen to maximized fix the problem tha he is having..... so for second time read page 1 and 2 and you will find out what we are talking about.

I know what you mean. . . Tried the script myself - works pretty good.
Having reag this tis is what I'm doing to kick off IG.
1) Start IG at startup with a .bat file (to get rid of nag window, force to FS etc)
2) use the following .VBS file to give focus to IG on pressing FP GPS buttons:
Dim WSH
Set WSH = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
WSH.AppActivate("iGuidance")
Works like a charm...thanks Frodo![]()
