gqmd, look at your position. frodo is an extremely well-respected member of the mp3car community, who has put incredible amounts of time and effort into frodoplayer, as evidenced by this thread: he is saying that he is putting effort into improving the existing version, IN ADDITION to creating a brand new one, which is commendable in its own right.
for absolutely no reason, you felt the need to come in and say that frodoplayer is dead. I think it's pretty obvious by the amount of anticipation of so many people on the forum, that it is not dead. The world of carputer frontends is not like the world of operating systems; there is no "windows" of frontends that no newer, better frontend can compete with. plain and simple, people still use what they like, and if frodoplayer 2 is as good as I'm sure it will be, then people will use it. the world of carputer frontends is still a community, not a competition.
and frankly, we could all care less what you do for work, or how much money you make. you came into a thread and made a stupid comment that was completely unwarranted, entirely opinionated, and contradictory to the obvious. and despite what you think, you aren't going to prove your intellectual prowess by insulting well-respected members of the board in a flame war that you started without provocation.
oh, and it's "aptitude" not "amplitude".
but thanks for sharing.
as for you frodo, keep up the great work, I can't wait to see what unfolds![]()
But don't take it from me! here's a quote from a real, live newbie:

Okay, i see where you're coming from. You explained it much better. As for frodo, all respect to him and apologies. He has definitely done the works and in turn motivated others to develop frontends in an attempt to compete. I'll definitely be trying anything he develops regardless of what I use now. Keep up the excellent work!Originally Posted by evandude
