Displaying reverse camera on a carputer?
Auto Reverse Cam
And there is more threads out there that explain better how to do what you want.
Basically you need the camera,Tv tunner card, relay and wires.

So I have my reverse camera right here in hand.
Now what I am attempting to do is have it so that it turns on when I put the car in reverse (I have a Xenarc TSV so it should switch sources automatically when I have my reverse on) but I also want to use it through FrodoCam so I can view it while driving.
I was told I would have to wire the car in parallel with the reverse lights and a constant and put a diode on one end not to overload however what would I need hardware wise to get this to work in Frodo? What would be the setup if the wires coming from the camera RCA's?
Anyone have any simple newb directions on this - any help is appreciated please!

Thanks Thanatos. I did some search queries but perhaps need to use it more effectively. Since I have the Xenarc it switches signal automatically.
Basically I'd need a relay powered by my reverse lights and have the powered position of the relay to be the camera and the default to be the carputer. Would then split the composite video signal from the camera to my tv tuner card and one to the Xenarc? Sound good?

No, i know i'd need some sort of tv tuner card for the camera. I was more concerned on the wiring. Haven't gotten around to doing this just yet but thanks again guys for all your help.
