Oh, and also, changing the font type in skin.ini lets me display cyrillic characters in FP! Woot!
It works!
FrodoPlayer works in Windows 98 SE running on Pentium 166 with 32 mb of RAM![]()
It's amazingly fast too! Scary fast, faster than WinAmp. I gave up WinAmp.
I will shoot some pics later. I love FrodoPlayer, it's pimpin'. So convenient. Now I just need to figure out how to make it work with Girder.
So there, the only feature that's probably not working in Win98SE is the seek bar. It just resets the song to the begining. But I can still fast-forward using the buttons. God, do I love those BIG BUTTONS!

do you have to make any changes to win98 to get it to run? Was there any other issues when installing FP on the win98 machine?
Never let the truth get in the way of a good story
I had to bump up the ram to 64 mb, but pretty sure it would have worked on 32 mb. I run Win98se with no updates or service packs, I believe there weren't any modifications done to it to make it work. It just worksOriginally Posted by meddler
