Unhappy Volume stopped working via TS

    HELP.

I was running Frodoplayer 1.10, WMP 9 installed on Windows XP Pro SP2. A couple of days ago the volume buttons via the touch screen stopped working (the mute button still works). If I use the mouse the volume buttons work fine. I am also having problems with the volume shooting to 100% then back to the preset level whenever I come back to the media menu from DVD, GPS, settings menu, etc or it also happens when I start Frotoplayer. I tried uninstalling FP1.10 and installing FP1.09 but I have the same results. I tried reinstalling the audio driver (via audio ver5.70d). I have searched the forums with no substantial luck.

    Any ideas?

try switching skins.. I am willing to bet its your touch screen dying on the edge of the screen...

Lilliputs are well known for this problem..

im trying to figure out if its a specific area of your screen that is no longer responding...

because based on your description of the problem.. that is all that it could be...

if the touchscreen works for all the other buttons BUT volume.. and a regular mouse works for the volume buttons.. it HAS to be a dead spot on the touch screen...

I have the RexBruMet 800x600 skin currently implemented. On this particular skin the mute button is between the volume up and volume down buttons. I also tried 3 other skins with the audio volume buttons in different places and I get the same results.
I did perform a screen draw test and that area of the screen tests fine

I bet this is a problem of the TS utility, go and check your settings.

I was thinking maybe a low % in misc or volume botton speed in misc2 in settings 1 but after read that it works fine with the mouse, I think is out of question.

This happened to me after I was tweaking the touchscreen settings. Under mouse mode, I had selected "click on touch", volume stopped working.

I then went back and selected "normal mode" and it worked again.

The volume button works by holding it down, not clicking it.
