IGmon for Frodoplayer

I have downloaded and used several different front ends. I seem to like Frodoplayer the best. Second to Frodo I like RR.

One thing I like about RR is the IGmon support software. It does an great job at modifying your iGuidance install. I really like how it turns down the music so the iGuidance voice can be heard. It also has a cool feature that will auto zoom in and out based on your current speed. It also skins zoom and destination buttons nicely. Anyways enough about IGmon and RR. Is there any support software that will accomplish all the same stuff within Frodo. I downloaded and tried the IGmod software but it just didn't cut it.

I really want to run Frodo over RR, so anything to help would be nice.

Well all I can say is that with IGmon:

Pausing the music works.
Unpausing music works.
Changing screens works.
Zoom speed box, next turn doesn't (it looks like IGmon does know when you switch to another screen in FP *this with the firts ver* I'm still palying with the latest release)
On screen OSk works.
The buttons besides OSD are from JT mod.

Can I ask what version of IGmon you are using? The version I have only seems to work with RR. I am using iGMon_2.0.1. I downloaded it from the link below.

iGMon - Solution for integration between iGuidance and Road Runner (I hope)

If this does work with FP that would be awesome.

Like i said in my other post it works, you just have to know how to embeded correctly and make couple of scripts (works with all versions of IGmod)

Looks like I will continue my search. I am not a programmer, coder, or scripter. If you say it works... someone must have some base line work done that I might be able to leverage so I can implement this into my setup.

Ok. I wasn't trying to be harsh. Let me explain. ->

I have been reading these forums for about a month and a half now and decided to get my project underway. I have learned a lot from the community about the carputer scene, hardware and software (Including threads and responses from yourself) . Most newbs get flamed for lacking the effort to find the solution on their own. Now I am getting flamed (called a cry baby) for suggesting that I go looks some more.

I appreciate all work this community has to offer and respect everyone willing to put in the time to help the advanced, novice and newb users.

Glad to see someone is trying to make IGmon compatible with more front ends. I would love to test any of the code you are putting together to make IGmon work with Frodo. Let us know when you have is functional. Thanks in advance
