Alright, the interceptor supports two servos, but the Fusion Brain does not?
Check out my GMC Savana worklog.

Remaining tasks to facilitate vanputer installation codename "Enterprise":
    - Edit skin to liking.
    - Get compatible phone for mobilephone.net.
    - Facilitate HVAC control.

No the FB only 16 digital outputs, while all of them support PWM, that will only work with normal motors, not servos. If you're doing climate control, the interceptor is the best way to go, just use 2 servos for the vent selector flap and the heat blender flap and use one of the pwm outputs for the fan speed controller. That way if you're computer hasn't booted up yet and you need to blast the AC in a hot summer day you can do it with the dedicated climate remote, instead of waiting in the heat for your pc to boot. And the eyeR also supports (or will support) addition input modules that you could use to detect tempurature and use your pc to automatically adjust climate.

I don't have a module yet available for variable output voltage control but sure is possible to connect one to the eyeR add-on ports. I have had this on my ideas list for a while along with digital rotary encoder, audio switch, itouch sense module, analog inputs, external LCD just to name a few.

Im working on the analog ports add-on at the moment, and soon after I will have digital pots.

These are at least 1 month away from a production unit.

Alternatively if you have an I2C device you would like support for I can add code so the eyeR can communicate with it. You would just have to make a prototype board with the device, send me the data sheet and I will make it work.

If this is to complex, you will just have to wait a bit

    This is my intention:

There is a difference between variable output voltage and direct potentiometer (variable resistor) replacement!

I got a D/A module from sparkfun working with the eyeR. To use it you simply move a slider (in the eyeR config utility) between 0-4095 steps and you will get a 0 - 5v output at the analog output.

If you need a variable output voltage then this might work:

It can replace a digital pot in some circumstances, though might be usefull for other applications. I guess when I get my hands on a digital pot I will implement it also.

Latest "eyeR Firmware v1.2" & "VB configuration utilty v1.2" are now available (first post) to accomodate I2C Analog output add-on.

The configuration utilty demonstrates how to use the sparkfun add-on with the eyeR. If ride runner can send serial commands to a com port then it will work. I haven't yet worked with ride runner but I'm sure there would be some kind of com port support. The eyeR manual has more details on the comport settings if you dont already know them.

    Any problems let me know.

    I'm very interested in this.
But my car needs 3 servos. One for Hot/Cold air, other for direction of vents and the other for circulation.

Can i use this interface to fulfill my needs?

Three servo's can be supported but has not be added to firmware yet. Is your circulation controls only 2 positions?

3 servos require an additional splitter cable. Alternatively the eyeR can be purchased as a module version with straight connectors, without case that allows you to plug it into another board for custom applications. This will eliminate the need for plug in wires into eyeR board for a more simpler installation.

Thank you Civic for your answer.

    Yes it is.

Also, with the Mastero Interface there was an Auto Mode function. Is this function present in eyeR?

I am sorry Civic. Can you explain this better? I don't think I understand how this works.
