Include a CD with drivers PLEASE!

You guys should include a CD with the drivers, hell with ALL the software on it. Sure would make things a lot easier.

Maybe im just a bit sensitive though, since I cant download the software here because of the firewall =[

We have considered this, but with how fast the software is getting updated, we couldn't keep up burning CDs.

Phidgets boards require the drives be downloaded from their website as well.

A firewall should not prevent you from downloading software. They are rar and zip files available, not pure exe, so it should not complain. I think your settings may be a tad bit too high.

Would you benefit from a direct link?

And yes the code changes pretty much every other day, so by the time you get it, it will be old and you would have to download new software, so the loop continues!

Once everything is top notch, then the updating should slow to just feature updates and optimization, but now we are still building it.

Its a government firewall

Up until recently, I could have gotten them downloaded, but now, if it has a .exe, .zip, or .rar extension, they wont let it through. And their system even scans inside archives, so if there is a .exe file oro .zip within say, a zip archive that has been renamed to something like photo.jpg, it still picks it up and blocks it.

If you checkout my RRCam 1.1 thread you'll see that not only did i have to upload the .zip file as a .txt file, but inside the zip i had to rename RRCam.exe to RRCam.jpg (though I made a .bat file to rename it back to .exe for anyone that downloads it)

It's a real PITA.. The only time I can get on another computer to download without restrictions is once a week, and thats not even a guarantee =/

If someone could send me the drivers and the control centre dynamic, with any .zip and .exe files renamed to .zip.jpg and .exe.jpg i would really really appreciate it. While It is a pretty paperweight, it's paperweight I really wanna play with =] My email is inh@burntmail.com

Ok I have put the Dynamic Program into a rar, and then renamed it to a txt file. See if you can download this.

If it works Ill do the same for the Skin Designer.

First one gives me this:

i guess it blocks .wav sound too.. The second link just says blocked file extension detected, and doesnt give anythign specific..

If you could rename the .wav soudn to .wav.txt then it should go through. Not sure how many .exe files and .wav files are in there, so it might be tedious. If so, no worries, I can always wait till monday and hopefully have access to an unfiltered computer.

Had about 15 mins to be on a computer today =/ I got the drivers downloaded, and after getting through 90% of the latest control centre, the connection crapped out =/ I have an older version on my computer though, so at least I can play with it some. I'm dying to see how hot it REALLY gets in Baghdad.. As well as how cold the AC makes our room =]

Not sure what kinda files are in the latest control centre, but if soomeone could rename any .exe .wav and .zip files to .exe.jpg, .zip.jpg, etc, and upload it here (or link me) I would be forever grateful =]
