then last i want to be able to remote monitor it from my desk which can be done fairly easily using Remote desktop.

SO the question is does it look do able with the fusion brain and is there any
info you think i am missing to start this project?

The Fusion Brain has 14 inputs, not 4.

There is no way to directly feed 120VAC into the board. That would require quite a bit larger traces and a completely new design. Just not feasable. Now you can take that 120VAC and transform it to DC if needed. I dont know what type of machine you are running but if you could replace the VAC buttons to actually send DC and that would trip a relay for the VAC. So the existing wires on the vac button would go to a relay, and then the leads on the current button would go to the coils of the relay (with a power source and ground of course).

The Fusion Brain cannot control or stream video feeds. If you mean control the cameras as in place them on rotating bases or something and have the brain control that, then yes.

The temperature sensors we sell is no problem.

And the log file created is in html format now read from an xml file with the data, so if you setup a webserver using Apache or something free and easy, then you dont have to remote desktop to monitor. However, if you want to control, right now Remote Desktop is the only option. I am planning on doing remote control though, but I am just too swamped right now to think about that!

Do the inputs need to be dry contacts or can i send a voltage to it like 5VDC or something?

as far as the camera i just want the fusion to be the main program to act as a button
for like recording or the control buttons. another recording program can actually
to the recording.

Where does it say 4 inputs? If it says that I need to fix it, but I cant find that....

The inputs work on voltage input. The input must be below 5v though. Anymore though and it will blow up!

And for the control mechanism for the camera that will work no problem!

12 on/off outputs, 4 on/off inputs, and 10 analog sensor inputs.

Ok, then yes that is correct. There are only 4 digital inputs but there are 10 analogue inputs for a total of 14. The analogues can be used as digital if needed, but the digitals cannot be used as analogue.
