    Fusion Brain Casing

Besides making a custom casing, what other alternatives do i have for a fusion brain casing?

    I've seen this:

But I don't know if i'll be able to make such a casing. Is it OK just to sit it behind dash? What is the norm?

I would not just let it rest behind the dash. You may short it out. I recommend getting a cheapo plastic casing like from RadioShack's project box selection. Or just screw it to a spare piece of wood so the wood covers the bottom and then secure it somewhere behind the dash.
