Ordering Fusion Brain Today - Few Quick Q's

Ok so i'm going to order a fusion brain today. Just a few quick questions, though. I have big dreams to have my carpc to control everything from windows, to hvac, maybe even side view mirrors as i've seen suggested. I just want to know: what are all the accessories i'm going to need to start. I know i'll need the basic brain, then maybe an 8 pack of relays, a temperature sensor, and.. anything else? How many relays are expected to be used with HVAC. I know you're working on making it easier for the HVAC with variable resistors and such, so are you going to make another part or just a software modification? If you're going to make another part, when are you expecting it to be ready?

The trouble is, every car manufacturer's HVAC system is different. If you're asking this question, you likely can't integrate the two on your own without doing heavy research.

We can't engineer a solution for every single car... that's up to the end user.

Not all of my endeavors are as complex as the HVAC. I was hoping to also get my fb controlling my car windows, so maybe that'll be not as hard.. Maybe up & down on each window (2), so that'd be four relays, right?

Don't worry, i plan to do "heavy research" and i'm a quick learner, hopefully you and toaster will be active on the forums in answering questions.

and yes, it would be 4 relays for 2 windows. Right now, I think the guy with the most integration going on is here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/work...utomation.html

He is doing everything. Most people have the PC start up with the car, he is having the car startup with the PC.

Maybe you can get some ideas from him too.
