Ok that was a one time only deal, but now MDX is putting two extra zeros in front of each of the numbers in my variable and AI labels.

My "default value" is 00, but it's been that way...

    Nope not your stuff.

THere was an error, that I am making an update for now pointed out in another post.

If there is no internet connection, or remote control is disabled, it will error because I forgot to add a null reference check to an event handler. Funny how 1 line of code missing can halt a program so severely!

Expect an update in less than 10 minutes.

That also was changed a bit back. Default value is now more like "before" value. So your text label can be "blah blah 0.00".

Default wont matter because on the first gui update it will try to reference what you are monitoring and the default is built in as 0. Does that make sense?

So basically just set default to nothing (ie. "")

I'm getting the same results with the other potentiometer, working off of the brain's voltage. I tested it at several points on the brain, and then on a seperate power supply (so that I can measure with only one device at a time, but it makes no noticible difference if I take a reading with the pot hooked to the brain either).

Consistantly, the brain reads .25 to .5 volts higher. I've checked my meter on 2 sources.

Done. Do an update and you should get version 1.0.0.6

Thank you very much, I was just dreading this... In fact this is a perfectly timed update for me.

    And for the else statement...

You are wanting an evaluate blah and if blah then do a if not blah do b? I can try and get an anti-then statement in there that would work like that.

I am also working on a switch statement, so not just if/then/else but if1/then1/if2/then2/if3/then3 sort of thing, but that has taken some thinking on how to implement.

I am also thinking that enabled a "do" node at any point in the logic section might open things up. Ideas? So inbetween the node, you can have it do things. This one I am not sure on though.

Yeah, your take on the else statement is what I had in mind.

The switch statement would be cool, but the way you have the then statement setup, you would have to add a field in the then/do statement so that it could be referenced to the right 'then' node in the loop, if there were more than one. Or something like that, if that even makes sense.

One thing I'm dealing with is the graphical real estate in the loop edit page, it gets used up pretty quickly. That doesn't lend itself well to complex loops. So maybe keeping it simple is the best approach here. No that the configurator lets you name the loops, it will be easier to keep them small and accomplish larger tasks with smaller, organized pieces.

The reason I ask for 'else' is, I have a decimal variable between 0-26, and each bit (or digital output) has a loop that monitors the variable, and compares it to pre-set on-values. So if the variable is between some numbers or equal to some other numbers, it turns the output on. Nothing will tell the digital output to turn off unless I construct another loop that is essentially opposite of the first. An else function would make short work of that, and keep things cleaner.
