Problem with FusionBrain installation

When I plug the FusionBrain into any available USB port WindowsXPSP2 reports a USB\VID of 0000&
and PID of 0000& ie unknown product!

Therefore I cannot install any drivers for it.

Help, is my FusionBrain broke?

Please take a screenshot of the VID and PID string.

Thanks for the reply, after doing some more research I found h3rk's thread on USB problems
some of these seem similar to the problem I've got.
Also after fiddling round the back of another PC that I was testing it on I managed to plug the USB cable actually into a USB socket rather than the LAN socket next to it

this PC then recognized the FB.

I will try to figure out what is wrong with my USB setup on my main PC.

Dunno if this will help other people who may have a similar problem.
I systematically unplugged other devices from USB one by one and found that my webcam was blocking any further device installs on USB. Unplugged and re-plugged the webcam and FusionBrain was then detected.
