power fusion brain from car battery

I notice after hooking up the fusion brain to the car power system that the blue l.e.d light stays on. Does this draw power from my battery when the car is off? I use a dry cell battery for my system. which I leave my computer in standby overnight for short boot up times. my car starts without any problem the next day. I dont want the fusion brain to drain the battery dead. It a 62 amp hr kinetik car audio battery.

The Brain will draw at maximum, 80mA. with a 62 amp hour battery, and the Brain being the only load on the system, that works out as follows:

    62 / .08 = 775 hours = 32 days.

Do you have it wired to a switched source?

not wired to a switched source, direct to the headunit 12v constant wire that why the blue light stays on. But when I rewire the car, I will then power it off the carputer 12v supply. I doing the headunit power until then.
