    that would wire it backwards on the above yes?

    make it more dummy proof...
    It is an adopted standard the way it is. It will stay as is.

    And no it wont be backwards. The sensors have a 1x3 cable. There is no backwards. The red can be on the outside most pin or the inside most pin, but it wont work unless red goes to +

    Red = + = 5vdc.

    on the old boards, it was inside. on the new boards, it's outside, so the signal path is shorter for the sensed pin.

    Looking at the drawing it looks like all the pins have .1" spacing so I should be able to use a 2 row connector on it. I want to use a 26 pin connector for power and a 13 for the inputs. Am I correct in this. Also if you want a fool proof way of connecting components use a 4 pin connector. Just remember that the blank connector goes to the inside. Hmmm so I guess if you did not remember that then it would not be fool proof.

    I appologize in advance to anyone that might be offended by this reply, but what do you want dude? The board is clearly labeled and anyone that can't follow the labels shouldn't be messing around with electronics anyhow.

    What you are asking for is not foolproof, but dumbass-proof, and it don't exist in electronics!
    Thanks,

    Dan

    well i apologise too for not being a programmer and an electronics wiz, and not noticing they had turned the whole pin block around in the reloaded version
    for myself this is not unlearnable just a steep learning curve as the documentation of functions seems pretty limited and this is a 100% new gadget to me. there will be probably dumb questions as i work it out.
    where else would you suggest i ask them?

    I also appreciate how fast the guys are bringing out updates and fixing things, so thanks to them

    Wow, after reading so many posts of people and their FB, I was about to jump in and buy one, but then after doing a search, I came across this thread and I love the look/features of that new one! I can't wait to get my hands on one! Great work to all those who are involved in it's development!
