Can I program the Fusion Brain via the USB and then have it disconnected from the USB and have the Fusion Brain be completely independent from a PC? Basically only have the Fusion Brain connected when updates are needed, but once disconnected from USB it functions completely independent?

Do you have any examples of code / programing / settings needed for some popular applications for your project. For Example:

I plan on using an autometer sensor that has power and an 0.01 - 5.0 volt output for measuring fuel pressure, oil pressure and boost. I think this would be a great service to the community to have an example of how to implement this device within a "gauge replacement" environment.

We're transitioning to a new software we wrote called MDX. Once we finish, we will do more tutorials... but in the meantime, we encourage you to download and play with it. It's fairly intuitive.

Do you have some pictures of scale of your device? Maybe next to a pack of cigarettes / gum, a coke can? I realize that dimensions are posted on your site, but I'm having a little issue visualizing scale without having it in my hand.

Does the Fusion brain have outputs in hexadecimal so that one could connect it to display. I plan on using an LCD or a VFD 2x40 display and I don't see how to connect or set it up to the proposed display.

The brain only communicates over USB as of now.

I've noticed your company has post ALOT of code in support of your device and its greatly appreciated. Will there be more examples of .xml code made available? and is there a list of developers / designers / programmers (may be a sticky I might start) that are available to assist the non-coders of this world to develop software for the Fusion Brain

I want to display my gauges without the need of a PC and the tether of a USB as space is very tight in my situation.

I have the data sheets for some of the autometer sensor in my office, I can translate them and post them up tomorrow. Here are the ones for the boost gauge coming off a 2 bar map with a 5v supply

.... so why not just buy gauges?

because I have a very custom car and I have everything hidden from normal sight. I would be adding at least 1 gauge and upwards of 4 to do what I want.



I just HATE the look of just about all gauges, so I want something suttle and different.

I have a Lincoln mark VIII show car thats making about 600hp. I already have a car PC, I don't want to wait for the PC to boot up waiting to see if I have good oil pressure or fuel pressure. The Auto PC is for general use entertainment purposes. This concept is critical and has to function in the off / on / ignition positions.

Thats why I was asking about the tether to USB, a self contained unit would be perfect.

needless to say a TFT rearview mirror would require a PC.
