Ok I just want them to look and operate correctly. I understand the word embed but how is it done. I have the MDX Software installed and I have added in the RRFusion app for the one off things. Do you build this page in MDX? and then add it to RR somehow? I will have like 3 pages of stuff like this to run the car. But I'm lost I guess. You guys make this sound like it is a cake walk and I'm sure if I understood it all it would be... Helps Me Please...
Have you checked out the FAQ's for RR? Or searched for embed application in the forums? Here's two off of the top of RR's FAQ. I hope they help. Because their author and maybe some of the active RR coders/skinners would be best suited to give a good answer.
LOL Dan, This demo is nothing more than 10 guys sitting around a table. I belong to a EV Club and there are at times like 20 people but for the most part there is like 10 of us. I was asked if when I was close to give a little demo of how this software would work. I have a meeting on Sunday that's all.
h3rk, I have so far been able to get a background image loaded into MDX. I have created a virtual brain for now until mine gets here. So how to get the xml file or config file to run so you can look at it out side the XDM edition configurator?
Once I have that I can embed it into RR I think I have played with loading Excel and other apps into RR.
Well that's my next step.... I can take a snap shot of what I have it that would help.
None of the Help in the MDX is working? Why is that.... Ok so I have manage to create load a background. I have added a Display Button... It is showing up on the right window. I added a Digital Output... Have no idea what it does but I got one... lol How can I see my work out side of the Configurator?
I have today off... Helps me.... lol
Can someone call me that can help me?
If so I can private email my number to you...
Digital Output = yellow port = relay control
To see your skin in the main program save your skin in the MDX program location (Program Files/Fusion/MDX) as "FusionConfiguration.xml" Then start MDX. Really the hard part is making it look pretty. The functionality will take all of 5 minutes.
