    Not a happy guy!

Went to play with configurator in the airport just now to find my fusion xml file has been replaced by another. I did nothing to it and the only new thing was an update i noticed taking place in the taskbar for mdx...Now my xml config that took me a week to finish is gone...Wish i knew updates would replace my work!!

Sorry to hear, but I am fairly sure it wasnt the update...

The update replaced both exe's. Also I have explicitly coded into the Updater to not overwrite any file named "FusionConfiguration.xml" files.

Here is the actual file it looks to update in: http://www.fusioncontrolcentre.com/M...tes/Update.xml

Most recent update at the end, format is pretty simple.

Do you have some virus scan or something that may have quarantined it? If you are running Vista then I think there is an old version tab in the properties, you can go back to if you have that enabled.

I am sorry it got wiped out, but I am relatively sure I didn't do it. Hopefully windows just decided to move it somewhere.

Maybe there is backup cache of the file somewhere as well. Do a full system search for the file.

Well, I am not blaming anything, just eluding to possibilities..I have not used any virus software and cannot for the life of me understand how it could have happened..I will look deeply for it tonight, thanks!

It doesn't make any sense to me because the config file that has apparently replaced mine is different than the usual default. I backed up the original config file but that is the one with the two pages of all the inputs and outputs. This one has 3 d/o's and 2 a/i's. I did not skin it and it did not exist before the update, so I can't see how it could have been anything I did.

Well I am sorry if I did do it. Did this happen to anyone else?

Best I can suggest is what should always happen, backup your data.

No it's gone...I am not blaming, I was just so shocked that it happened. Funny thing is that I backed up the default one and not the one I made! I'll just have to make it better this time
