FB can read in anything with a voltage. So yes on the button and yes on the LED.

digital = 1 or 0/ true or fase/5v or 0v
analogue = anything so anything between 5v and 0v

So all digital inputs can be used in an analogue input since both 5v and 0v are in the range of 0v to 5v.

But analogue inputs cannot be used as digital since 3.14v is not 0v or 5v.

So your led is either on or off. That means it can be used on digital.
**EDIT** This is asuming you are soldering directly to the LED pads. If you cant solder or dont want to open it up, then use a light sensor.


A button is pushed or not pushed, which means on or off, so can be used with digital too.

So since they can both be used with digital inputs, they can both be used on analogue inputs.

Our new Fusion Brain will not use any digital inputs since they are so limiting.

so as far as the led goes, i cant actually like splice the LED and then hook it into the board?

lol sorry, im just throwing ideas out.

ah my bad. just instead of actually having to use a sensor to detect when the led is on, could you just somehow splice the + and - of the led into the FB? lol i did a quick paint drawing
