    The issue there is that
    1. Wine is buggy.
    2. Many of us aren't using GUIs.
    3. Fusion's MDX is far from efficient
    4. MDX can't communicate with linux apps.

In theory it could work but it defeats the purpose of linux in the car.

If you are interested in running the fusion software, give it a shot. Let us know how it goes. I believe the only gotcha will be mapping the linux serial device to a com port, but WINE offers a tool which should handle that.

The fusion brain is not a serial device....not possible to interface with it from wine.

Is anyone using the FB these days? I have a need to read some voltage inputs for some testing, as well as generate a pulse to a speedometer (to increase the mileage) so I dusted off my FB V4. But when I went looking for linux drivers it seems *.openice.org is now a generated fake SEO type honey pot **** site.

    Is this the latest?

I've attached the latest working single-threaded code from when I was working on fbd. It includes momentary output, temperature, set one/all/masked outputs, check output state, check FW and HW versions. I was working on a threaded version to allow arbitrary timed output control but never got there. I also had written PWM support but it was untested and isn't included here.

Thanks. I ended up just using my raspberry pi instead.
