i've used mine on my ancient epia 800mhz. Wasnt a problem.
i have a board laying around that i'd like to use for a custom project. has anyone had success using these boards? for some reason i thought i read that they are only tested on the intel boards.
thanks in advance
It is not that it is only compatible with Intel southbridges, but that is all we have to test on. Some people have had problems and every one of them had a non-Intel southbridge. (not neccessarily the cpu, but the usb controller chip which is usually there).
Out of curiosity, I wonder what chipset those via's use...
