there was some sort of an errorduring install, i cant remember what it was now, but by the looks of it i can still create it on this PC and change it over..

    2k,
what does min dtime stand for? what does it do

in "what to do" should i be looking at trigger.. or at enable / disable?.. whats the differences?

if i set vote opinion on or off what will that change? will it not consider the vote at all? or does that make that vote more dominant?

is the voting done in realtime, so if recognises the off click as an absolute vote.. it will immediately win? does this not still relye on the fact it needs to recognise the off click?

Minimum time between votes in milliseconds.

Trigger Output changes a Digital Output. Enable or Disable Button will do what it says and enable or disable the display button.

That IS the vote. If you set it to "off" then it will turn the output off. If you set it to "on", it will turn it on.

    Look at section 2.4: http://www.fusioncontrolcentre.com/T...ual%20b005.pdf

No it is not realtime, it evaluates it every timer.

    No.

When you press it, the down click vote will be put in the queue. When you release the button the up click vote will be put in the queue.

If you continuously press the button votes will only be put in the queue every 20ms, no faster. If you set it to 1000, then it will only work once every second. Set it to 0, it will work as fast as you can press it.

Timers as defined in section 2.1 of the manual. Since it is a button, it is part of the GUI, so it uses the GUI timer. Lets say you set your GUI timer to 1000. Every second, MDX will clear the screen, and redraw it. It will also go through every button tally the votes and determine whether or not to do each button's action. Also decide whether to show the primary or secondary image.

If only 1 vote is cast in the period then it does that, simple enough. But lets say you clicked it twice in that 1 second. If the votes are the same, then it will do the action because it is essentially 2-0 for "do action"-"don't do action". If you have a downclick and an upclick and they both register in the same time, then you get a 1-1 tie, and it does nothing.

So a GUI timer of 1000 is a pretty dumb idea. The lower the number the better. But the lower the number the more CPU. Just like section 2.5 explains.

    2k

Ok 2k, just installing this into my ride lately, and ive noticed when i press anyone of my buttons, if i slip and my finger doesnt lift off the actual button, it will stay engaged.. is there anyway to make the button on press only be the size of the button, but can lift finger off anywere on the screen and it will still register the lift off?
