    Help With Fusion Brain And RRfusion. PLEASE!

    Alright I pretty much got the how the outputs work no problem. What I am running into problem number 1 with is the analog inputs. I am currently trying have the temperature display in Road Runner with the RRFUSION plug in. with the said my problem starts with not exactly knowing what pins are what port. I have a Fusion Brain Version 3. Do the analog inputs ports start with 0 or 1? meaning, (going top to bottom, bottom being the where digital output pins are)

    Problem two: The temperature sensors have three wires (obvious) two wires are black and one is red. what wire goes to what pin, meaning, what pin does the red wire go the inside pin or the outside pin? I cant really seem to get a strait answer. I have tried it both ways and it shows some kind of temperature both ways.

    I have tried to explain everything i need help with in the simplest way possible but here is a picture that can help the words



    Ok problem three: this has to do with the coding of rrfusion. the problem comes in when plugging in two temp sensors. it shows temperature but i dont exactly know if its working. because i do not know what pin is what port i think, also only one sensor works at one time. i cant seem to have both the sensors work at the same time for some reaoson, im placing them close enough to each other and one will show 67 degrees and the second one will show 47 degrees, again that probably has something to do with not knowing what pin is what port.

    As of now im fairly sure thats all I need help with. Please let me know what I am missing or doing wrong..

    Well did you do as I previously suggested and use MDX with a virtual brain? It will REALLY make things easier for you to understand. Then you can move on to more advanced things and 3rd party software.

    Also I am pretty sure I already replied with which side is which on both versions of board via email.

    I tried to use the virtual brain but i could only get it to open once and still it was not showing me anything, I did exactly as you said to get it open and it would not open again, you might consider me stupid but mdx is such a confusing software to use, for me anyway.

    You did reply to which side is which but i do not think you were correct because I was getting more accurate reading with one sensor with connecting it reverse of what you said, but again i might as well be doing something wrong so thats why I wanted to ask again more for a concrete answer.

    you shouldnt DELETE any of those lines. If you dont use them simply dont skin for them or change your 1's to 0's for the ports you're not using. I believe the label code you are looking for would be ANALOG2OPT. You need to read the skin commands file man all this stuff has to go to be in there.

    With some assistance I have finally figured it out!

    Can I just ask how come no one could point out that the picture I posted of the fusion brain was UPSIDE DOWN????

    I kept putting 0's and 1's where 8's and 9's belong!!

    Both sensors now show the correct temperature!!

    Now about mounting one of the sensors to read outside temperatures, A lot of honda's and acura's mount their stock outside temperature sensors right in front of the radiator, now if i went that route, I would have to encase the actual sensor and diode in hot clue and then mount it correct?

    hot glue or silicone works just fine.
