    Easiest way to check outputs

I have a V3 FB and i am finally trying to get the thing working. I have the temp sensor working and converting to Fahrenheit correctly, but I am having issues with the digital outputs. I have read in the posts that I will never read a voltage across the pins so I tried to read continuity across the grounds to see if it is switching correctly but I get nothing there. I don't have one of the stores relays but I do have other relays I can use. What can I do to check it? The LED's do light to indicate the outputs are active but that is all.

Connect your voltmeter between + and the output ground pin. When the output is off you will read nothing (as in open line, not connected). When the output is on, you will read + (minus a little bit of course).

Ok, I did some more checking on the board today. There is something really screwed up here. When I choose output 0 the LED lights for output 0 but I read voltage on output 7. All my outputs seem to work but they are all over the place not on the correct output, except for outputs 8-11 they are correct. Any ideas on this one, atleast I know the fusionbrain can work I just have to remap the outputs and never look at the on board LEDs.

Ok, I just found the FAQ stating V3 LEDs are messed up.

Yup, that was a V3 problem. Fixed in future versions.
