like the title says what is required for mdx to run in win7? I nlited a copy of win7 and everything works but MDX when I open MDX nothing happens it never loads but I get no errors either

I have those installed but when i try to open mdx it shows up in task manager for about 45sec then disappears. I get no errors or anything any idea on any components I may have removed that are needed?

Have you run it in debug mode? If it is erroring it should give a warning.

ok thanks I had not even thought about using debug mode here is a screenshot of the error message I get.

With today's processors, it is really useless to strip an OS anyways. You are just causing headaches for yourself. Next time you add some other hardware or software there could be one dll missing that you will have to hunt down. A couple gigabytes of useless data is good for when you need it.
If you optimize your BIOS boot, the OS being stripped is basically useless.

i know that the OS stripping is not really necessary with current tech but I actually Like having the working system as small as possible. I want to say my current setup is right at 5GB not counting GPS maps. and yes I know with HDDs at a low price and SSD drives dropping in price that doesn't mater either
