We used libusb in 2007/2008 but Windows7 does not support it at all. Considering the project is dead, I dont epect any updates any time soon...
FYI, there are .net bindings for libusb-1.0. Not sure what you plan on using, but I thought I'd throw the info out there.

you could do platform specific interfaces wrapped in a single FusionsBrainLib....just use libusb for linux and osx.

I would like to see a networked version instead of USB. This ones not for my car computer.I just ordered one to control the solar heater for my spa. USB's cable length is a issue and it would be great to access from other computers in the house.
Great board at a great price.
Thanks, Mike
Pull the input measuring capacitor to ground before measuring the next input.
I think the size is fine. It is hard enough wiring all the available inputs and outputs.
More thoughts: After packaging a couple of these in my car, I think I'd prefer a pair of leads for power connection. Maybe even a motherboard pinout for the USB rather than the bulky connector plugs. I think horizontal connections for the AIN's or outputs would help as long as they didn't stick out opposite sides of the board.
Oh, and have the sample hold capacitor sink to ground before measuring the next input.
Interesting. I had thought of this and the betas I made last year had ethernet ports but I never had time to implement it...
Yup, already got that one
Maybe make it a little bigger?
I will have to check that out, thanks.
It would have to be on multiple sides. The current size is dictated by the number of ports and the physcial space needed. If it was long and skinny, it might work. That was a formfactor I had been considering...

Size and form is fine. This much waffling indicates it is probably good as is. Might be worth a size increase for a couple more inputs. Not enough power for more outputs.
What would the limitations be of a double sized board with twice the ports through a single USB connection?
