    I had to make a few component swaps, but they should be electrically equal. Makes me nervous to do so, but it had to be done. The raw PCBs are done and ready, they are mostly assembled from what I am told. Still hoping on just a couple more weeks.

    Got an actual ship date finally!

    They will leave mainland China May 4th (hopefully). There is a national holiday going on there now...

    Should only take a day to program them, do some basic functionality tests, and ship.

    Again I want to thank everyone for your patience and patronage!

    A giant box with Chinese markings just showed up at my office, so I think they're here!

    I hardware test, program, then hardware test, software test, and package each Fusion Brain individually. So I am thinking it will take the better part of the weekend assuming no problems are found.

    Thankyou all for your patience. I know it has been a long road, but I hope these make up for it!

    really wish their was a 5v version available..... the v6 unfortunately for me won't be usable with all the 5V sensors i have/will have
    Planning: [|||||||||-] 90%
    Purchased: [|||||||||/] 99%
    Installation: [|||||||||-] 90% (when is anyone's project ever REALLY done...)

    All of our sensors work on 3.3v, no change required. It just scales it.

    And so I opened the box, and there they were. I programmed one, and it fired right up. Still doing some electrical testing just to verify.

    i wont be using the FB sensors anymore... I'll be using ones made by AEM namely 3.5bar (50psia) pressure sensors, 100psig pressure sensors, some temp sensors, etc..... no matter what i do with the fb sensors, i cant seal them up enough to withstand the engine compartment and fluids..... my oil temp and coolant temp sensors have been jumping around for weeks now... and now that i'm going turbo, i need sensors that are threaded instead of just loose... all of those sensors run on 5v sources, so the v6 brains wont do me much good.....

    that's why i said its a shame you dont have a 5v version...

    i know it scales, but there's some sensors that output 0-5v, like my wideband O2 sensor and boost gauge...

    Ok, they are tested an working.

    The ADC is improved from the betas.

    So of 32 digital output pins:

    31 of them control digital outputs
    30 of them are controlled via the PC
    1 is constantly on as an output test and for a "when on, turn this on" type functionality.

    All 15 ADC channels work between 0 and 3.3v. They can be overdriven to about 3.5v but not recommended. Also anything over 3.3 will read as 3.3. There is no cross talk between ADC channels like all previous versions. There really wasn't a harm because floating inputs by nature aren't being used, but now it just "looks" better and makes it easier to debug.

    The LEDs are lower current then the betas. All 30 PC controlled digital output channels have 8bit PWM support and can be set to any value between 0 (off) and 255 (100% on). The LED next to the channel will DIM appropriately as well.

    It can be powered from the USB port, or any input source above 4.5v through the power jack. It will automagically draw power from the higher source and switch between on the fly.

    Good to go!

    A voltage divider would scale your 0-5v signal to 0-3.3v fairly effectively. You would lose some resolution of course, but at 10bit it ought to still be sufficient with only two resistors that could easily be soldiered in-line on your sensor output just before the FB.

    600ohm R2 and 300ohm R1 or so would do it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Resistive_divider.png
