Can anyone help me with this, maybe with a sample of the proper code to perform these functions.
Open the configuration (press F10 when open) then add a button to control a digital output. The ones that are in the default config are either or buttons just to show it is possible.

I tried F10 to add buttons, but each time I turn on an output its still turns off the last one. I have been using the default config, just deleting the the code for the buttons already there. do I need to use a different file or something.

The default configuration is just a sample. It shows how one button can override another. If you actually create a button using the configurator (F10) that is not the behaviour you will see.

*Seems* like a less than adequate answer to what looks to *me* like a 'yes' or 'no' question.

I've stumbled around the various threads looking for information so to "educate" myself to use FB6 without documentation and I've not been very successful. There seems to be quite a lot of doc and info on previous versions, but it's not at all clear to me how that applies to FB6. Nor is it clear what to expect in the way of doc and software for FB6.

    Any suggestions?

There was a version (an OLD version) that was an either/or type response for all outputs. That was more than a month or so ago. Links to my site never die, so it is possible to download that old version now. Just don't. If you are using the newest version which should be "1.1.0.172", this will not happen. It will happen with the 3 buttons that come with it. It will not happen if you make your own buttons. No you do not need a different file, you need to add things to the file like has been described.

If you want more than 1 action on the same button, edit the XML file and add multiple items in the events section. That easy. If you are running the newest version (1.1.0.172) and you add 2 new buttons to control digital outputs and they turn eachother on and off, then there is a problem I cannot reproduce right now and will look for. Post your FuseGL_Trace.txt file if so.

Documentation is coming, I am all alone here. All hardware, firmware, and software research, development, implementation, testing, and support is 100% on me and has been for a couple years now. This is a high priority, but I do have other priorities that actually pay the bills whereas this is more of a community charity. I try to develop rather than focus my time on document. The more people that use it and I can show how to use it here, the less support I have to do personally and the more time frees up. The FBv6 has only been shipped for a couple months, and the software is still new. The rest of the documentation on software goes back almost 5 years now, which is invalid now.

I try my best to answer questions in this thread and others as they popup. Also, please do not hesitate to start new threads, it doesn't all need to be in this one thread. And I am available through email as I always have been at [email protected].

Also I have been out of town since last weekend and will be until this Sunday. I have no way to debug with hardware and patchy internet. I cannot be oncall 24/7, I try to answer when I can from where I can though.

I will be here tonight and will be out almost all of tomorrow in the skies.

Were you planning on redesigning the input isolator and frequency to voltage sensor, etc... to output within the new 3.3V ADC range or are you happy to keep the old designs with the proviso that a voltage divider is required?
