Not that it matters too much... :P

One of those marked as "31" (port 32) is not user controllable. It is an always on thing. So when the FB is live, that port is live. Easy test/debug does it work port with no software configuration. Useless otherwise. There weren't any more free IO pins to make it user controllable, and making the header for only 7 instead of 8 would have looked weird.

Actually it might be 30 not 31. I can't remember off the top of my head...

Awesome! Lots of thought went into this! (We don't expect any different )

Might be one in the 16-23 inclusive (0-31 number scheme) range? The original pic has 7 outputs there. (#17, with the LED on?)
Meh, it'll be in the documentation when everything is finalized

Yeah its the one with the LED on. Labeled in the 16-23 range of outputs on the silkscreen. However the actual port number in my schematics is somewhere in the 28-31 range. I moved traces around to make the layout better and it swapped some sectors of outputs as far as netlists go. I guess I should probably change that in my schematics before I get too confused lol.

Alright, I got the first glimpse of the new Fusion Brain Version 6B (FBv6B).

It is over the Pacific right now. Some of you eagle eyed viewers might notice a couple differences. (It's like one of those newspaper puzzles )

Changing the side the PIC is on was no small task I imagine. I like the input labels

It was a complete relayout. But worth it. I reduced the drill count by a factor of 5 or so.

The PIC layer change was one of many changes. There are at least 5-10 more significant changes.

Ok, well RevB is alive! I have yet to program anything to it as RevA took out my dev laptop. But the good news is exhaustive testing of the power systems says I fixed the prior boo-boo.

It comes alive with about 3.8v applied to either input. USB input never goes above USB spec (5v +/- 10%) when force driven from the other input at voltages up to 16v so far. Board doesnt get hot or anything.

My manufacturer put the wrong feedback resistors, inductors, and LED current limit resistors on. >.< The first two are easy enough for me to change for these few boards, and the LED resistors mean that they just glow REALLY bright at higher voltages!
