Anything between 4.5v and 28v on the input and everything will work. Lower is better for LED heat on the betas. Won't be an issue laterQuote:

can anyone here talk to the v6 on a 64bit system? I got the driver to install and i see "Fusion Brain Version 6 RS232 Interface (COM2)" in device manager, but using the commands like "A?" and others mentioned above dont seem to do anything. I'm using Putty to communicate.

It requires '\n' to start processing. '\r' is ignored. So it should work on any OS.
The quickest way to make sure it is working is to send it "*IDN?" and that should return back information always. If not, then something else is wrong there.
As for max baud rate, it doesn't have a limit. The theoretical maximum is 1Mbps as per USB CDC specifications. All UART activity through USB disregards all baud rate information. It is up to the device (i.e. The Fusion Brain) to buffer the incoming packets, and send them out of an actual UART pin at the correct speed. Then signal the host "hey I'm done give me some more". The FB doesn't actually send it out, it just processes it internally. So it actually receives the info, stores it, and immediately says "gimme more". So it can run at the maximum speed USB allows. The FB ignores all baud rate settings.
Yes in windows, dsatx is powered by 12v. But i'm not getting any returns at all. I also notice when i first installed the FB there were 3 missing drivers, the RS232, the WINUSB interface, and something like "Uber speed mode" or something to that affect. Now that the drivers are installed i only have the RS232 and WinUSBs shown. Is this normal?Quote:

Tried hyperterminal and its the same thing. I should clarify, when i say it doesnt return anything what i really mean is it doesnt appear to ever connect. The bottom bar of HT says connected, but when i type *IDN and hit enter nothing happens.
