Yes you can do that, but I wont be doing it in the main program. Someone is working on a 3rd party dll to do just this.

Basically right now, the program will write what it believes to be true every time. And that wont change in the immediate future.

Thought I posted this once before, but I guess it didn't go through...
I have been considering getting the Fusion Brain, so I've been brainstorming ideas that I could use it with... Let me know if these would be plausible.
One thing that I know it can do and I like a lot is the automatic A/C controls and regulating the temp in the car. Just wanted to comment on that...
I was curious, though: how many relays would it take to control a 3-knob A/C system?
One idea I thought about would be to have a sensor that detected the outside temp and, when it was above a certain temperature, it would automatically lower the windows and moonroof. This would be a potential problem on the warm, rainy days... maybe a baro-sensor could work parallel to that? Or a manual override switch? I dunno... And, if that's possible, what about raising the volume on your PC when the windows go down to compensate for the noise of wind? And, if those are possible, if you have phone control, how about, when receiving a call, it reverses all of the above?
Another feature, similar to that, would be to have it take some data from the GPS and you could log the coordinates of your house. That way, when you got within a certain range of home, it would know to roll up your windows/sunroof. Maybe this could also tap into the GPS program and be able to do it whenever going somewhere and approaching your destination...
Also, how about auto-locks upon the car reaching a certain speed for those of us who don't have that feature built in already?
Sorry for all the questions... I just have been thinking about this product a lot lately and would really like it if there was a way to perform the above.
Thanks for any input!
most of those ideas sound good, except , having the auto-lock I CANT STAND
. dont want it
Everything you mention is completely doable. The GPS and Phone Control however will require you or someone else writing custom interface software. In order for that functionality to be built in, I would need to write interfaces for all phones and all GPS programs. That would detract from the main purpose of the program and add unwanted bloat for many people.
But yes it is possible.
if it autolocks above like 15km/h, and unlocks below 15km/h, then whats the problem, u like opening ur door at 50km/h?

I would buy this board for a single specific application:
A Sony steering wheel adapter to Streetdeck input plugin.
I have this Connect2 adapter that translates the factory specific steering wheel commands to the Sony wire resistance protocol. The analog input of the Fusion Brain should be able to decode the Sony protocol and generate input events to Streetdeck.
I believe something similar exists for RoadRunner in combination with the Velleman kit.
Doable? I'd pay for someone writing the plugin.
There is now a new version of the software available on the website. It added the rotation feature as well as some others. The skin designer is also updated. You can find them both here:
Yes that is very doable. It would require you to change the resistive output to a voltage input scaled between 0 and 5 volts which is doable.
