I found an interesting error in the board... Im not sure if this is the software of the brain but when I turn on DO#7 DO#8 turns off/will not go on. Two other things, as well. One, the board will disconnect and immediately reconnect to the computer; seems like a driver problem. When this happens if something is on it will turn off if its default is not set. Two, not sure if this is what its supposed to do but when defaults are set on a DO and the USB is disconnected (Simulating the computer being off) and the program is not set to defaults before this the board dose not return to default. <- This is what I meant by the feature request I made a while back.

I forgot to mention that since I do not have my car right now I'm testing it on my home/work system which is running Vista which may explain some of the problems Im having.

    1. Some boards have bad LEDs. this is a QC issue we will try to work out with the PCB manufactur. Try putting your relay on the output and seeing if it responds. I remember two boards had bad LEDs.

    2. The board disconnecting/reconnecting is a particularly annoying issue, one I became aware of after I mailed the boards. Nick and I are working on this. It is hard to solve because it is so intermittent.

    3. Nick will respond to the default behavior.

Thanks for working with us guys, there will be issues but we will mail you new PICs with updated firmware as I get them worked out.

    1. This is what I thought at first but I tested it and with OD#7 and #8 on through software; #8 will be off (no power with volt meter) but if I turn #7 off, leaving #8 on, #8 will come on. This is repeated while turning #7 on and off.

    2. Aleast you know about it

I really need help on the disconnect/reconnect thing, guys. any bug reports or information you can give me would be appreciated. It is hard to troubleshoot because it is so intermittent. I've had the board go all night without disconnecting, and I've had it do it 3 times in 10 minutes.
