I am very happy to report that everything is working perfectly minus the burn out voltage reg. but nothing is wrong with the PIC as I had previously thought... I let it sit for a while, while I ate breakfast, I came back and re-soldered (better-soldered) the new voltage reg on and plugged the power in and the USB... And it worked perfectly!!! Im am very impressed with these boards and the PIC chips, very, very sturdy. With this development I am more than satisfied with the hardware this product is made from (maybe not who assembled it )

ok lets say output 1 (in my case will turn on supercharger) my system uses a electronic clutching system to activate/deactivate.

so say when you press "Supercharger" button an audio file opens *but doesn't interrupt what musics playing* and plays a WAV recorded something like "Supercharger Engaged Please Disengage Clutch Maintain Less Then 2 Thousand RPM" and lets say set a delay of 7 seconds, and lets say the recording was 7 seconds and at the last second it says "Engaged" and BOOM its on. after then when I Un-click it(turn it off), could it play another WAV file like "Supercharger disengaging, please disengage clutch and maintain low engine RPM's"

is this a feature anyone else would thinks cool?

that would be totally and completely sick.

    Great to hear.

We will implement reverse polarity protection on the final boards. Reverse polarity is about the only thing that the boards aren't very good at withstanding as fo now. When you reverse polarity on an LM7805, it becomes a direct short.

Very true... Also, in my experience when they die they sometimes let the full voltage through, destroying whatever is on the other side.

Why? That would mean having to start over again in coding (Almost) and not to mention how overly complicated that would be and performance hungry.

Yes you can do it. Basically there are hidden buttons that are easy to access and retrieve data from in the application. So if you are good at programming, then go ahead.

Well some people might feel better makit it themselves. I like my software obviously, but others may need some other functionality. Or maybe native into a custom frontend or something.
