Ok, the next version of the software is ready enough to be distributed.

I'll upload it in a bit along with a more detailed post of the new stuff, and stuff that has changed. As I said previously, THE USERCONFIG FILE IS NOT COMPATABLE WITH THIS NEW VERSION. So you will either have to manually convert it, or just start fresh. This is due to the added API calls to programs such as winamp and others that require a subclass to be specified along with a mainclass or mainwindow title.

    More details later.

    Here is the link:
    http://www.fusioncontrolcentre.com/S...a_25-04-07.zip

No time right now to explain. I will try to tomorrow.

    Basically in the FusionForm.skin file:

    #ANIMATIONINTERVAL#250
    #ANALOGUEINTERVAL#50

First is how fast the output channels update.
The second is how fast the analogue channel updates.
Both are in milliseconds. And no protection right now. If you enter "65t" it will error out.

    #AUDIOFROMOFFTOON#\Sounds\SampleClick.wav
    #AUDIOFROMONTOOFF#\Sounds\SampleClick.wav

Under the digital out buttons 01 through 12 and all on/off.
The file path of the audio file. Needs to be a *.wav and also no checking right now. So screw up, and who knows what infortuneate curse may be bestowed upon you. It uses window's API calling, so if you screw up, it screws up BIG TIME.

Now in UserConfig.atom: This is the big reason you may not just copy the exe. You need to delete the current settings before you run or as soon as the digitial ins check, it will error out. here is why:

    >>DIGITAL IN 1
    >>
    >>::::::

All digital ins must now have 6 colons on the 3rd line. These are the delimeters for the sending keystrokes to windows through windows API. These are NOT TESTED right now. So reccommend you leave them alone right now. Just change the userconfig now so you dont have to later.

Under the analogue input maps still in userconfig.atom:

    ##1
    >>MCP9701
    >>VOLTAGE
    >>C::(x-.4)*1000/19.5

If you declare the 2nd area as VOLTAGE and it must be all caps, then the third line can have a custom function. For instance, 2 temp sensors went out with beta. MCP9700 and MCP9701. The MCP9700 is hardcoded into the "temperature". The MCP9701 is not. So that is the function for it in Celcius. The first part is the suffix for what it displays, then the MANDATORY delimeter of 2 colons, and then the function. Right now only simple. No errors can occur.
Only "(,),*,/,+,-" and numerical digits and periods are allowed. Anything else, and you are playing with fire right now.

Right now the above is only settable through the files, not through touchscreen. Frankly, I dont see the need for these to go in a touchscreen interface seeing as how once they are set, they are set sort of thing. One day they will go there but priority is low as of now. Pipe up if you disagree.

    More will come tomorrow/friday.

    And lastly, Enjoy.

Well some people might feel better makit it themselves. I like my software obviously, but others may need some other functionality. Or maybe native into a custom frontend or something.

Basically i wanted to make a complete hi graphic animated frontend.. no pred. it would not invlove recoding the whole thing at all.

my plan is to run my entire airride system from it and maybe even my AC, power windows etc if i can get that far into it..

all it would be is a wiz bang looking front end. much similir to the iPhone scheme i wanna emulate. that would retreive information from the fusionbrain software. and be able to operate the fusion software thru my frontend. rather then the fusion software directly.. In all aspects it would use the most of the software and all its coding.. all id be doing is some animated coding and forwarding to the powerful software. all credit to the fusion brainiacs.. im just the lil guy pulling info from it.

my goal is to have a detailed 3d object with each side related to the airbag Pressure. and have the screen move in realtime to the way im driving and height. which isnt that hard if i could retreive the info from fusion software in realtime. get me?

there is also plenty of exspansion to make some really good looking interface in flash. even have window animations to the relation of the window.. really endless opportunities..

    Sounds pretty cool.

Myself and a beta tester have worked closely getting the buttons to be externally readeable and controllable through API calls while the program is in the systemtray. I am not familiar how flash calls native OS functions, but I am sure it can be done.

If you would like to release this software (as it sounds pretty sweet to me) we would love to have your controllable application in our donwload section on the website once you get it done, or beta. The actual download section is not even built yet!

But yes you can read values from the buttons in realtime. Then parse your info from there. Also the buttons can all be pressed. If you look in the skin files, all the button's names are listed in there for each form in the app which should make identifying button titles really easy. There are also hidden buttons, for both analogue and digital incase you cannot access them directly. There have been changes to how the buttons are drawn recently, so these may not be needed anymore.

We would need david to confirm this.

instead of a wav file can we have wav and mp3? No real reason apart from just being stingy with my hard disk space

Well playing mp3 requires using a codec, and that is pretty difficult for a small feature. And with multi-gagabyte harddrives, a couple more kb's wont kill ya!

Ill look into seeing if I can do this easily. But I doubt it...
