    Hello.

Tim is on vacation, and I am having finals this past week and today. So we have been pretty quiet.

But you should have received a new PIC in the mail with version 2 burned in. Did you not receive yours? It took me about a week and a half to get it. Turbo took a little longer than that too.

Well, I am off to write my final exam, wish me luck!

I am back from vacation, and I mailed yours out about a week after the rest. I didn't have enough PICs to go around. Let me know if you don't get yours soon.

The final board was sent to China, with bigger voltage regulators, and replaceable output transistor arrays in case you blow them up.

the following sensors are also on order from China:

    3-axis acceleration
    light
    temperature
    50 amp current

Also, please, please help us out by preordering. We really need to get a feel for demand. If you feel sketched out, I would be happy to give you my personal cell phone number - just PM me.

Same here. I'm in Mountain Time Zone and am usually up between noon and 8am so for you late night people or europeans, I'm here.

Tim is Eastern Time, and more normal I suppose.

There is also now a new thread just for the pre-orders. If you feel the need to exclaim your new awesome purchase then do so and bump the thread!

Is there any chance of a gyro/tilt sensor so we can measure how level the car is?

Looking at doing some performance testing and therefore need the tilt angle of the car as it accelerates/brakes, this will help in the calculations of 'true' horizontal acceleration.

edit: hope this diagram helps explain what I mean

Well we will look into the tilt sensor. Go ahead and chime in on the sensor thread: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/hard...ml#post1066471

And there is now a new software out too. It fixes the animated gif problem. They now work! Please check the download section of the site to get the newest exe.

For those who are just tuning in, you will still need the 01/05/07 release, and then this 19/05/07 exe update. Just replace the exe in the 01/05/07 release with this new one, and you will be good to go.

cool, thanks for the animated gif's,gonna play with this

I think a g-meter is going to be all you can use there gtr, an angle meter would have to compare to absolute level & not the road anyway, I wouldn't think what your talking about can be done...
