Thank you all for the hard work!
Well if you were being attacked by wild boars, maybe they will be distracted by the shiny cool electronic board.

The estimated time is probably 2 weeks from now. I emailed our manufacturer last night and they informed me the boards were still being etched. So they say about 1 week before they are ready to be shipped to us, and then another until we get it. It may be before then, but 2 weeks is about the best estimate I can give now. Of course if we get them sooner, we shall ship them sooner!

We will keep you guys updated of course.

Ok. This is the new website: http://www.fusioncontrolcentre.com/F...alog/index.php

It is an extreme overhaul. It took me many many many hours to get this working. It is still not done. I will not update the link in my signature until it is completely done, but I would like to get some opinions from you guys who have been following the product.

Please let me know what you think, vote on the products, right a review if you are a beta tester, or overzealous psychic.

If you are going to buy from the store, google checkout does not work. Neither does FedEx shipping. If you want FedEx, it is UPS-ish rates, so choose the UPS bubble, and when you pay, either include a note in the paypal, or email us, or both.

I hope to get that resolved soon as well as the google problem. Generic "Oops, it didnt work" messages are pretty stupid and hard to figure out the problem. Good going bagillionaires google.

Also the links at the top. The Software, and News are broken. That is because there is no page there. You can click them, and an awesome php error will await you. Nothing special there.

Also with the top links, if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, you will see a fancy nancy security feature blocking my awesome flash buttons. Click it once, and it should be ok. I worked hard on those buttons, so bask in their glory. Opera and FireFox display them correctly. If you have issues please post them or email them.

The website will eventually have a workaround for IE6 and IE7, but not yet. You have to love security features that can be bypassed with a few lines of javascript.

Also there will be 4 languages hopefully. 2 definately. English and French. If you know a second language pretty fluently, or were in probably Language level 3 in highschool or something, and want something to do in your spare time () you can just translate what is on the english version to your language, email it to us at FusionControlCentre@gmail.com with Subject:TRANSLATED SITE and the language. I will add it to the site, and include a flag of the country.

English and French will be done. If you are good at french, you can do it if you want, but I know I can handle that one. I am Canadian after all.

Chinese Simplified and Dutch will hopefully be the 2 other for sures. Chinese will probably come in 6 months or so. Dutch hopefully sooner. So extra brownie points to you if you know either. And yes we can store unicode characters so the characters are fine if you do chinese/japanese/korean/hebrew

If you want Klingon or Elvin, I'm all for it. Just send it to me. I am a nerd, so I'll let it fly. Want 1337? Sure, why the hell not.

Ok... Other than that, I think it is all done.

EDIT: I also want to give a shout out to the brilliant coders at Unisys around 1995, the developers of the *.png format. I have never really used this format, but I decided to try it out, why the hell not. Well as the name says "Picture Not Gif", I wont be using *.gif's again for areas where I want transparency. If you resize your browser window while in the store, a very very rudimentary scaling and layering effect using png files keeps the header looking ok. Until you get below 600 pixels wide. I thought it was nifty, and spent the better part of 10 minutes on it, so enjoy. One of those things nobody notices because your screen resolution rarely changes, so it always look normal to you. But now you have a chance to look at it from the perspective of someone who doesn't have a 1600x1200 resolution monitor.
    /EDIT

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THE ULTRASONIC OR IR DISTANCE SENSORS. They are not yet fully tested. If you order them, we will first laugh at you, and then put that order on severe backorder pending the condition it actually works. The beta of the ultrasonic should arrive at my house before 2pm for me to assemble (yay for 300 solder points by hand ) and the IR sensor should get to Tim in a week.

Again, please let me know what you think. And enjoy.

I like it, any reason why the temp sensor went up from $5 to $8? And is there still a free volume control with pre-orders?

I think that is a mistake, but I'll check with Nick.

Yeah that is a mistake. The 8 is right above the 5 on the numpad. Sorry.

    Will fix it right away.

Also, is the FedEx shipping calculator working for you guys?

I have done nothing to it, yet overnight it started working?!

Oh well, please pipe up if it shows you the shipping cost via FedEx (Federal Express).

    Thankyou.

Yeah I was trying to figure out why it would cost $20 to mail something from my address to my address, and I couldnt figure it out...

Those prices are retrieved right from the FedEx & USPS API, and the UPS Rate Charts.

Hmmm... I will look into this. Like I said, still not finished!

Ok, I think I got the shipping error figured out. That's what I get for copy/paste.

I think the rates are now correct. It seems like the right amount for what I usually pay. How about everyone else? Is it coming out correctly for you guys? Also international shipping, is it doing alright?
