First post updated with v1.1. Hopefully fixed decimal separator bug.

As for JIT: It looks like your motherboard supports gamma changes. Look in the XML to see if SunTime is enabled

    0l33l:

Yes, the XML reflects SunTime enabled...

FYI, this morning I found that the computer dimmed... looks like it is reversed, in the sense that it is dimming during day, and vice-versa

EDIT: That's definitely the issue.... happens on my home computer too. The DAY setting is being used after sunset, and the NIGHT setting is being used after sunrise. It's reversed! How come no one else noticed this?!

Really? WTF? I'll wait until someone else posts about this problem before I fix it.

    Hi Ol33l:

I've been testing the gamma control, and I think my previous statement is wrong. It's not just simply 'reversed' I had originally thought.. but there *is* an issue.

With my particular settings at least (i.e., using my Long / Lat values), it just doesn't trigger the DAY/NIGHT mode at any reasonable time. I would expect it to trigger NIGHT at around 9 PM , and DAY at around 6 am.... but it does not... it basically triggers NIGHT after midnight, and not even sure about DAY.

Attached is my XML file... can you load it and see for yourself? Play with the clock of your PC and see the results. Looks like the sunset/sunrise times are not being accurately calculated.

    Thanks!

Ok.... for some reason it is calculating it weirdly. Will fix.

justintime: Thank you for being a great tester! I forgot to set the lat/lon coordinates. Ooops!

    Updated file with v1.2.

I think to view when your sunrise/noon/sunset are you would have to press test night

    Ol33l:

Thanks for adding Sunrise/Sunset times... now it is easier to troubleshoot

You still seem to have a slight issue here... look at the attached screenshot. The Sunset/Sunruse times shown are reflecting tomorrow (Today is Friday, it is showing Saturday!)

So, net effect, the NIGHT and DAY changes seem to be taking place at the right time, but you should be aware that the day/time shown on the preview are actually not today's. It confused me a little at first because I didn not catch the fact that it was showing tomorrow's sunset/sunrise... and so everything appeared to be triggering a few seconds off.

See attached screenshot, which I took at the exact moemnt gamma went from Night to Day...

Well, to solve this issue, I'll just remove the dates
