I set mine to lower the music volume instead of pausing it, now I don't notice any double-muting or double-lowering (if it even does it anymore) which is much better. I also like it this way because sometimes GMPC will speak just to say something obvious like 'Keep right', and it gets annoying when it keeps pausing the music.

Although, when the volume isn't being cranked, can hardly even hear what GMPC is saying.

there's not really a good solution to the gmpc low volume problem except to lower your music player's volume and crank up the system and wave volume in xp. i upgraded my setup to windows 7 for various reasons and it's mixer has independent volume controls for each program so i set everything to 40% except for gmpc which i set to 65% and bluesoleil at 100%.

Hmm I might have to do that. Except I have my fronts turned down to 60% because otherwise it clips when I turn up the volume. And there's no independent volume control for individual speakers just overall.

Although I think I might just be able to turn down the gain on my amp instead (dunno why I didn't do that in the first place).

    Will see how it goes.

What RR command can I use to mute both the winamp music and video screen (using VLC)? The example provided with NavMute reduces the volume of winamp so this works well for me when I'm listening to music, but when I'm watching video I also want to be able to mute the volume.

Anyone help me with the RR command that I can use to mute Audio Playback (Winamp), Video Playback (VLC), and Radio (Radio Shark). I'm using the DFX 4.0 or eLite Lite Skin. Right now my NavMute command I am using only mutes winamp so when I'm watching videos I can't hear Garmin. This would be much appreciated if anyone could help me with this command.

I was just taking a look at the latest RR release and it seems they've added a VLCVOL so now I can control VLC's volume and thats pretty much what I need right now so I'm happy.

Hey Guys, I have an issue. I'm using GMPC and NavMute with the latest release of RideRunner. When GMPC goes to say the direction, the GMPC program goes out of focus and the Rider Runner Screen comes up on top. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? Is there a fix for this?
