I'm confused here....doesn't the demo only mute audio? (aka know that garmin is speaking) not actually know what text is being spoken?

I need to get the actual text or even better like ws6vert said-the full turn list.

Also, ask the developer if he figured out any of the getMapBitmap functions as that could be HUGE functionality wise.

As you can see and as I hoped to show... GMPC has alot of potential, it just needs more investigation into what it can do.

That was a DWM trick...which allows me to catch screen refreshes and mirror them to my application. Works flawlessly on win7 and vista with 0 CPU load.....the problem is figuring it out on xp. I don't have an xp system left to dev on, only testing.

what if window does not geting refreshed?

then it doesn't matter, because the screens not changing. We only care every-time the screen changes and since we query for the image from the start we always know what it looks like.

I attached the sample app I was using (not mine but its public domain). Just make sure that the GMPC application doesn't get focus, it only works if GMPC is in the background.
