Proof of Concept: Interfacing with GMPC

I'm not sure how much time I will have to dedicate to this, due to school. I only posted to illustrate that the MobileXT SDK could be used to increase the functionality of GMPC. I'm no software developer, so I only did this in hopes to spur some sort of deveopment by others who are much more capable. I'll continue to tinker with it whenever I get a chance, but there is no way I can confidenty code anything that could be used reliably in a CarPC environment. I will help out in anyway possible to assist in open development of any sort of native GMPC plugin.

did your developer have any luck with getting the map from xp? I think thats the major thing holding us up.

The program doesn't run with either. It is only a test application to illustrate a point.

Ok I just looked at the feature list for the new version 5.00.70 and saw something really interesting:
* Ensure the C# API bindings work well.

Is there a C# api we don't know about??

Where did you get the sdk from?

garmin developers subscribtion... go get the USB SDK revison and Combine it with XT revision (USB revisoin is on the same page as update) SDK is in Developer section (i have no idea how to access it

they focudesd on talking to USB devices and update seams to be the same as XT version so and API

Good part is tha they explain how to tap in to routing WPx = Way Points (x for type of call)
