Missing navigation info when taskbar is on the right

All the buttons at the bottom disappear when I have the taskbar on the right of the screen, but only in navigation mode:

Is there some way to trick GMPC into displaying everything or maybe removing one or two of the buttons on the bottom?

Having the taskbar on the right works very well in my case. I have usually have enough horizontal room in most applications, it's always the vertical room that I run out of.

Hi, looks like a classic case of Garmin trying to resize on a lower resolution (width x height) screen that also has scaling set above 100% in Windows 8 Screen settings.

EDIT: In this case, compounded by the Task Bar on the right - Garmin does this when it's width is restricted as above, to Garmin the left side of the Task bar is NOW the left side of the screen, in other words you have reduced available screen width, changing scaling below what it's set (if above 100) may help.

I double checked and the scaling is still at 100%. After doing a little more playing around, I can get it to display the bottom bars if I use 7+ Taskbar Tweaker to allow me to resize the taskbar to be very small, though at that point it's no longer touch-friendly. I could also tell it to go into windowed mode by tapping the title bar twice, though then the scroll/zoom buttons hide behind the taskbar.

I wish there was some way to trick it into thinking the window was larger than it actually is. Otherwise, I'll probably go back to Mapfactor or look into a paid product that's still being updated.

Yes it's a shame that Garmin can't resize a little smaller. Funnily enough the only time I had trouble was on my SPRO 2 Tablet in portrait mode, took me a while to find out why the bottom buttons disappeared as soon as I entered a course. Fortunately I don't use the Windows Shells (Desktops) at all with my FE, I never see them, so I was able to run at a higher resolution to accommodate Garmin - my FE didn't care and looked exactly the same.

I know that Odyssey Navigator will scale down to something tiny as it's meant to run on everything down to tiny phones. I haven't tried the latest MAP Factor offering, I was not impressed with the earlier versions - especially maps and it's display. Best of luck - I suppose Auto hiding the Task bar is out of the question, sometimes helps, but I guess it's messy on a small screen in the vehicle.

Yeah, I'm not 100% satisfied with Mapfactor Navigator Free's interface. One thing that bugs me is that their US and Canada maps are sold separately, which is frustrating since I may cross over into the US at some point. So far, all I've found is CoPilot Live, which looks decent. Maybe Sygic, though I can't find anything about buying the Windows version on their website, hopefully the "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" saying doesn't apply there!
